FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 20, 2025
Alexandria, Virginia — Martial Arts for Social Transformation, Equity, and Rights (MASTERs) is excited to report that an instructional version of Hannah Martin’s 2024 Judo clinic at High Noon Judo is now available for purchase on the MASTERs website. This is a special opportunity for those who were not able to be there in person to still have access to all the content of the clinic.
Hannah Martin is a decorated American-born judoka. She won the World Cup in San Salvador in 2012, a great achievement. In 2014 she won the International Judo Federation Panamerican Open in Miami. She took silver at the 2017 Judo Grand Prix in the central Asian capital of Tashkent, Uzbekistan in the category up to 63kg. That same year, she won the European Cup. In the International Judo Federation she has had 131 recorded contests coming to 13 ippons. She has competed all around the world, leading a somewhat nomadic life while testing herself on the tatami.
Hannah is known for her tai-otoshi but the instructional of her clinic is not limited to that. Interested judoka will find details on the sankaku, osoto gari, harai goshi, and of course, tai otoshi.
Martial Arts for Social Transformation, Equity and Rights prides itself on planning and hosting quality events where white belts to the most experienced judoka can still learn. Additionally, the non-profit strives to platform female athletes who have so long been sidelined by their male peers. As we enter 2026, MASTERs has already begun an exciting new instructional series with its first release from Isadora Friedlander starting it off. This recorded clinic is an excellent compliment to the upcoming shorter-form instructionals.
The team at MASTERs is pleased once again to be able to serve its community with quality judo and contribute to making the sport a more equitable and inclusive place.
